We have had several severe storms that damaged our trees on the park and are in need of volunteers to help us clean up our trails of downed limbs and trees. Park personnel will use chainsaws to cut large tree debris. Can you help us out? We will be cleaning the Paris Landing property around the cabins and Raptor Ridge trail in the morning and move to the Hazlewood Girl Scout Camp in the afternoon. Volunteers are needed for either morning or afternoon (or both times!) Please put the time available on a note when you sign up.
Anyone volunteering ages 12-18 will have to sign a waiver on-site with parent present to participate.
Please bring water, gloves and wear sturdy shoes. A small backpack and snacks are also recommended - we will be hiking into distant trails. No restrooms will be nearby.
