Each year on the 4th Sunday of September, World's River Day is celebrated! Kentucky Lake and almost every other river in the country faces many threats to its health that can only be prevented through our involvement as stewards. Join us to ensure the health of Kentucky lake by volunteering with our Rangers to remove debris along the shoreline. The park will supply all tools and materials needed for the clean-up. Please be sure to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. Volunteers will meet at the Pavillion near the Marina to receive tools and instructions. During the clean-up we will need volunteers to assist with relocating our Sea Bin to an area with higher concentration of marine debris. This will enhance the capturing of liter in the waterway near the Marina.
