Come out and join us at Panther Creek State Park for our Tennessee Serves/National Public Lands Day event. We are looking for volunteers to help us eradicate invasive species from along the park roadway. Invasive species smother out native plants, so it is important for us to remove the invasive species from the park to allow room for native plants to grow. We plan to be working for approximately three hours, so bring drinking water with you. Also, please be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and work clothes. If you have work gloves, please bring those. If you do not have any, we have gloves you can use. We will meet at the Spoone Shelter parking lot at 9:00am.
