Tennessee Promise Saturday

Tennessee Promise Saturday serves as a way for students to accrue volunteer hours needed to complete their volunteer service requirements. While specifically created for TN Promise Students, any person is welcome to join us for this volunteer event. We will be working to remove invasive privet and other overgrowth from the park. Volunteers should come prepared by wearing clothes they do not mind getting dirty and wearing sturdy, closed toed shoes.  We also request that volunteers bring their own work gloves. Volunteers may bring their own tools if they wish, but tools will also be provided by Old Stone Fort. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle and wearing bug protection as needed.
