Weed Wrangle: is a statewide volunteer event in conjunction with the Garden Club of America that focuses efforts on invasive plant removals or native plant restoration. Volunteers learn, practice, and begin a habit of maintaining an area free of non-native invasive plants and encourage replanting with natives in removal areas.
Join us at the Park Office as we work to eliminate some of these invasive plants. We will be meeting at 10:00 Am and working to clear privet from some of the shorter trails around the Office and Cabin area. Please dress for outdoor work and wear sturdy shoes. A drink and gloves are recommended.
