Did you ever want to be a Ranger? Here's your opportunity to live the dream and work hands on with real Park Rangers on resource management projects to preserve and protect your favorite state park! This exciting new program will be offered the 2nd Saturday of each month through 2021. Park Rangers will share stories, give unique insight into what it takes to be a Ranger, and work with participants on various projects including trail building, bridge construction, habitat improvement, exotic species removal, etc. Volunteer Ranger Days will be from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. starting at the Park Office. Projects will vary. Please wear weather appropriate work clothing.
Registration is limited to 20 participants.
Volunteer Ranger Days are co-sponsored by the Friends of Natchez Trace State Park.
Ranger Days participants earn 4 service hours for TN Promise, Scholarships, Clubs, etc. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an Adult.
