This opportunity will help our park maintain the 8-Mile Eagle Point trail.
We will be focused on grooming and trimming any overgrown branches, weeds, or plants that make hiking this trail difficult.
We will be hiking the loop section of the 8-mile trail and will be approximately 4.5 miles worth of hiking. Be prepared to spend the day out on the trail.
Please bring a backpack that contains bug spray, sunscreen, plenty of water, a lunch, and any other items needed for the day. Closed toed shoes are required to participate in this opportunity. The park will supply gloves, tools, and extra water.
If you are willing to bring your own hand-powered loppers or hedge trimmers, that would greatly appreciated as the park is limited on hand tools.
