Join us for a volunteer event that will also be the Debut of our Trails Work Trailer! Thanks to the support from Friends of Henry Horton State park and the Friends of Tennessee State Park we were able to outfit an enclosed trailer with tools and storage so that we can continue to maintain existing trails and construct future trails in more efficient way.
This volunteer event will consist of invasive plant removal as well as installation of directional signs for the parks second river access point. We will meet at the wetland parking lot located on River Rd past Henry Horton State Park Campground. Please wear closed toed shoes and clothing you are able to work in. We will provide water and snacks, but we ask that you bring a refillable bottle to save on plastic bottles. We look forward to seeing everyone out at the park for a great day of being outside and helping keep the park beautiful!
