Come out during our Duck River Outdoor Expo to help with our Run Duck Run Duathelon. This race is a combination of running and paddling. Racers start with a 1.5-mile run on our greenway followed by a 2-mileile paddle on the Duck River and ending with a 2.5-mile trail run on the Duck River Trail. Volunteers will need to arrive at 6:00am at the visitor center before going to their stations along the route.
Tasks:
- Be prepared to assist in carrying kayaks to the water for racers to start their paddle.
- We will need help getting racers to shore and moving kayaks after their 2-mile paddle.
- Some volunteers will be placed along the Duck River Trail to give racers directions.
