Dunbar Cave State Park is currently in the middle of a large trail building project. We are creating an entirely new loop trail that will allow visitors to interact with some of the unique cultural resources that Dunbar Cave protects. This trail has been designed using modern and sustainable principles that should allow it to last for many decades to come. In order to complete this project, we need your help. Much of the rough cutting of the trail has already been completed. The biggest need currently is help "finishing" the trail. This is very detail oriented work that requires much more focus and patience than brute strength. Finishing work is not well suited for children or those with short attention spans. Tools will be provided. Please bring your own water, gloves, bug spray, snacks, etc. Pants and hiking shoes or similar footwear are recommended.
