Weed Wrangle is a statewide & nationwide volunteer event in conjunction with the Garden Club of America that focuses efforts on invasive plant removal or native plant restoration. Volunteers will help tackle the removal of invasive exotic plants, learn, practice, and begin a habit of maintaining an area free of non-native invasive plants and replanting with natives in removal.
For 2023's event we will be removing invasives along the Homestead trail in the campground. We will meet at 9am on March 4th at the camp ground store for a quick safety brief and to assign the tools for the event. Please wear appropriate closed toe shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and a pair of gardening or work gloves.
