Join Ranger Willis on Saturday, September 14, from 10 to 12 at Window Cliffs State Natural Area for our Girl Scouts Love State Parks event! We will work on the native grassland project by weeding the roundabout and learning about the native plants planted there. The native plants in the roundabout will give everyone an idea of some of the pollinator species in our larger, native grasslands project. We will discuss the benefits of native species and animals. There will be an option to pick up litter and remove invasive species, so there are several opportunities to earn badges from this event!
Please wear long pants and toe-covered shoes. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. Please bring plenty of water and snacks for this event. The park will provide gloves, tools, and equipment needed.
