Volunteer: Shoreline Cleanup (Rescheduled) - World Wetlands Day and National Rivers Day(We rescheduled this event due to snow and ice) Go Green with us! This month we celebrate our Wetlands and Rivers in Tennessee State Parks. As the Tennessee River levels fluctuate seasonally, the shoreline collects trash. We have made tremendous progress keeping our Park shorelines clean and need to do some cleanup around the point where our large cabins are located. Join us as we do this important work and as a bonus, we will also be identifying mussel shells along the shoreline in this beautiful area! We will meet at the Nature Center Parking lot and then move to the cleanup area. The area is muddy, please wear shoes that can get muddy or boots if you have them. Some gloves will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. Trash bags and "pickers" will be supplied. Please dress for the weather, it is colder at the water than inland. This event will be cancelled in the event of rain, sleet or snow (let's hope not!) Park: Paris Landing State Park (We rescheduled this event due to snow and ice) Go Green with us!
